Upon my arrival to the island of Oahu i couldnt have been more excited to live in a town surrounded by water. Living here has given me the gift of the ocean at such a close and awesome expense.  Before coming here i knew how to surf and took part in many waterman activities, however i never had the opportunity to do them on some of the best beaches in the world. My go pro has been my sidekick, allowing my to take some beautiful pictures of waves like this one here at Sany Beach on the South East side of Oahu. I have met and learned from some amazing and talenteed people thanks to the ocean.

Here is a photo of me surfing at Queens beach in Waikiki. I have grown to love surfing and the ocean so much during my stay here in hawaii. One of the things i am most appreciative of is the different types of waves hawaii offers. II have grown as a better surfer because of the diverse beaches. My love has grown for the sport, and though i am not good now, Surfing will be a life long hobby for me and ithink hawaii for all the awesome moments in the water.

This photo is of my friend and classmate Kaito Ohara. He is a legendary Japenese Native who kills it at surfing. I have had the priveldge of working with him on many class projects that brought us straight to the beach. Kaito is good at almost everything in and out of the water. I love his outlook on life and I can not thank him more for taching me many aspects of surfing. I hope to someday be as good as him.

Sometimes i struggle with living in the city of Honolulu. It is a beautiful place however has many scars and some what depressing aspects to the city. Thankfully the city is lined by the amazind south shore. The ocean presents some of the most amazing experiences. The fact that going swimming or surfing, body or board is a free activity is amazing. There are not many things left on this earth that are free, however i think the most precious moments are spent with my time at the beach, it is a free activity that i will take advantage of for the rest of my life.

I have been blessed by the Lord, Hawaii, and all of the people who live here. My stay here has been life changing and as you can see, my stoke for the water is alive and well, i hope to never lose my passion for the ocean, Thanks Hawaii!

This photo here captures my love for the ocean. i tiook this at Waimea Bay and it shows Gods beauty in full effect. All of the nature and beautiful animals that inhabit the sea are a gift to us. The ocean has so many blessings to offer and i have learned here in Hawaii just a few of them as i will continue to find peace and love at the beach.
